The Money Makers are our superior original H-H goat cross which are approximated 3/8 Boer and 5/8 Spanish. They have an excellent kid crop and are easy keepers. They weigh from 110-125lbs. They have great conformation, good udders, and a long productive life of 10+ years. The Money Makers have done everything we want and more!
In about 2015, H-H Ranches introduced some pure-bred Savanna billy- goats and bred these to the Money Maker. The result was a goat weighing between 100lbs and 110lbs with darkly pigmented skin, with speckles on its head and ears, and a smooth, uniform conformation. This cross has good kid crop and very uniform kids.
These are the best Spanish nanny goats in existence today. They are a big set of goats weighing 110lbs or more, deep as the Money Maker, very fertile, with great udders. In fact, during the deep freeze of 2020, the breed up was better than in our Money Maker.
The South African Boer, Savanna and Kalahari Red all shared the common gene pool when they decided to split the goats into different groups many years ago. H-H does not close the gene pool by only breeding Red bucks to Red does. H-H continues to have red does from our Money Maker herd each year along with the red does and red bucks that are born to the Texas Red does.
These goats are huge, weighing 130lbs plus when mature. They have shiny black hair, even in hard times, and are the most fertile of all of our goats, with a 180% kid crop. They are easy keepers, and parasites seem not to affect them. They are great mothers!
